Orano USA will transfer the remaining spent fuel from Diablo Canyon Power Plant (DCPP) operations to onsite interim dry storage.

– Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E) announced this week that it has selected Orano USA as its vendor to safely transfer all of its remaining spent fuel from Diablo Canyon Power Plant operations to onsite interim dry storage. The announcement supports fulfilling PG&E’s commitment to move spent fuel from wet to dry storage following the cessation of operations at the plant in 2025.
