Havering's strategic planning committee scrutinised plans for 1,070 homes in Bridge Close, Romford.

A developer is hoping to avoid building affordable homes on Romford's North Street by paying a larger S106 fee instead. 

The Romford Civic Society has weighed in with its key considerations about the initial plans for a major Rom Valley Way development by Mitheridge.

The number of parking spaces and leisure facilities were among the queries raised at a committee meeting reviewing a pre-application for 860 Romford homes.
