Helen Adjoa Ntoso snatches Krachi West seat again

In a contest best described as a David verse Goliath battle, the veteran politician and former Volta Regional Minister came out victorious in a very narrow escape haven polled a little over 490 votes to outdo her main contender Justice Amankwah Mensah popularly known as JAM 1.
The Krachi West parliamentary seat has always been won by the National Democratic Congress since 1992 with cheeky ease. In the year 2020 however, the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) with unlimited state resources at their disposal marshaled every weapon in their arsenal to annex the seat from the NDC. The NPP adopted a number of campaign strategies centered first of all on fabricating lies aimed at denting the credibility of their contender who doubles as the sitting Member of Parliament, Hon. Helen Adjoa Ntoso. One of such lies was the fact that she was not a native of Krachi and so did not want to see the progress
