CALGARY A year into the pandemic, a new report shows how many Albertans have had to dip into their savings due to job loss or lost wages. It also shows their financial wellbeing is worse in the west than it is in eastern Canada. The survey from FP Canada, the national group that certifies financial planners, shows that 57 per cent of working Albertans say their professional lives have been impacted during the pandemic. It shows that 24 per cent of people in this province were forced out of work and 25 per cent had their hours cut back.
