Friends and family talked about the family of Tausha and Michael Haight and the last time they saw them before police say Michael Haight shot and killed them all before killing himself.

Officials said that a Utah man identified as Michael Haight, fatal suicide shooting killed his five children, his mother-in-law, his wife and himself, two weeks after his wife filed for divorce.   CBS News reports that during a Thursday press conference, Enoch Police Chief, Jackson Ames, said that officers had been involved in investigations involving the 42-year-old man and his family a "couple of years prior" to the time of the incident.

The eight victims were found when police did a welfare check at the residence, according to a statement by city officials in Enoch, a small town located 245 miles south of Salt Lake City.

The bodies of eight family members, allwith at least one gunshot wound, were discovered inside a home in southwestern Utah, according to authorities.
