“We’re looking at a cliff and eventually we’re going to go over it,” former state representative Keith Franke said, adding that he thinks this change will harm local charities and small businesses.

Reps of Protect Our Charities, Allied Charities of Minnesota, and Electronic Gaming Group invite citizens to an event in Moorhead Sept. 21 that will discuss how e-pull tabs benefit the community.

"Nobody needs tacit approval to harm the kids in our schools — and if you can't abide by that, you don't belong in our schools or a position of authority," writes Davin Wait of Moorhead.

"On the one hand, they're saying that their role is merely handing out stickers and being role models, but on the other they say they need the complete freedom to use deadly force against a first grader...," writes Zac Echola.
