May 06, 2021 - 5:02 PM Three people have died during the COVID-19 outbreak at the Spring Valley Seniors Community long-term care home in Kelowna. The outbreak was declared on April 28 after one resident and one staff member tested positive. As of today, May 6, there are 32 cases in the facility, including 22 residents and 10 staff, according to an Interior Health news release.
