Boston gets home runs from Ceddanne Rafaela and Rafael Devers as it avoids a series sweep.

The Boston Red Sox were led by a stable of relief pitchers and late-inning offense in their 9-2 victory over the Minnesota Twins on Sunday.

The Twins 12-game winning streak was tied for the second-longest in team history behind a 15-win run in June 1991, the last season Minnesota won the World Series.

The Twins took an early lead as they looked to extend their winning streak to 13 games. It was not to be, as the Red Sox bats woke upon following Joe Ryan's exit, and they pulled away aided by some shoddy defense in a 7-2 win.

Boston Red Sox outfielder Rob Refsnyder exited Sunday's game against the Minnesota Twins with hamstring tightness.

After losing three in a row, the Red Sox put up nine runs on 11 hits, including homers by Ceddanne Rafaela and Rafael Devers, to avoid being swept by the Minnesota Twins and ending their 12-game win streak.

The Boston Red Sox have provided injury updates for Masataka Yoshida and Rob Refsnyder and timelines for the returns of Brayan Bello and Garrett Whitlock.
