The Anglophone East School District superintendent Randy MacLEAN is preparing to welcome back hundreds of students for the first day of school.

The Iberia Parish School Board recognized and congratulated the school district’s three students of the year at Wednesday’s meeting.

Former businessman and president of the Barbados Turf Club (BTC), Robert Bourque, passed away last Sunday morning after a long illness.
