State heritage-listed Shafston House is under new management, with plans for a full restoration, apart from the Shafston International College campus buildings, which will be demolished.
The site is the third-oldest residence in Brisbane. It is situated on the Brisbane River at Kangaroo Point and was built in stages from 1851 to the 1930s.
