Two weeks after abruptly resigning from office, former state Sen. Thomas Cullerton is scheduled to plead guilty Tuesday in a federal embezzlement case.

Former state Sen. Thomas Cullerton pleaded guilty Tuesday to one count of embezzlement, admitting he improperly took more than $240,000 from Teamsters Joint Council 25.
