Robert Harward Biography Vice Admiral Robert Harward is the most-decorated Navy SEAL in US history. He led the US Special Operations invasion of Afghanistan in the wake of 9/11, oversaw the Navy SEALs' role in Iraq in 2003, and participated in missions in Somalia, Syria and Yemen, as well as several classified operations. He subsequently became one of the most senior figures in the US military, serving as Deputy Commander of the United States Central Command, and as Director of Strategy and Defence Issues for the National Security Council. In 2017, Donald Trump asked Harward to serve as the White House's National Security Advisor, but he declined. Harward is currently the CEO of Lockheed Martin in the Middle East.
