Winchell Thoroughbreds’ Epicenter, the Kentucky Derby (G1) runner-up and probable favorite for Saturday’s 147th Preakness (G1) at Pimlico Race Course, had his penultimate training session at Churchill Downs Sunday morning before being vanned to Baltimore Tuesday.

Armagnac, a front-running first-level allowance winner May 8 at Santa Anita, will make his next start in the 147th Preakness Stakes (G1), middle jewel of the Triple Crown, next Saturday at historic Pimlico Race Course.
