We have this idea that lets do an ohmage to an arguably a think is the greatest achievement for africanamericans to become president and who else should be on that list . We did a list and Interactive Digital project and it was well received, highly debated and then code mifflin hardcourt publish it and said could you turn this into a Childrens Book because there are not a lot of africanamerican biographies of the genre that is a popular childrens biography collection so they had these beautiful illustrations. We turned it into a book. Host what is the format of this will . Guest well its basically a short file of sketches with a couple of illustrations. It just gives you a kids gives kids enough so they can learn about these tremendous africanamerican achievers and just absorb some of the inspiration and greatness that luck americans have contributed to this country. Then i remembered, we had no idea who people were the first time we went. There was the three of us, and we were from the university of washington, and none of the faculty members were there. We had a whole raft of historians, but nobody was there. Price and i and my wife terri, it was like being on survivor. We were on this island. [laughter] prof. Wallis you know.
