Driver Guy Gagnon stole the show on Sunday, April 7 at Rideau Carleton Raceway, snagging the victory in both $10,000 Preferred Handicaps for both the pacers and trotters on the 11-race card.

On Saturday, April 6, a record 210 guests celebrated the 2023 harness racing season in Quebec with the annual Gala des Champions Awards Night at the Hippodrome 3R in Trois-Rivieres, Quebec. The evening was a great success with numerous guests happy to meet at the dawn of another great season at H3R on May 5.

Sunday night (March 31) saw a pair of trainers take the lion's share of the 11-race Rideau card, with reigning leading trainer Mandy Archer and Marc-Andre Simoneau each with training triples.

Familiar faces and new voices highlighted the kick off to the Rideau Carleton Raceway meet as The Light Speed and Guy Gagnon teamed up to take down the $10,000 Preferred Pace, one of the reigning leading driver's five winners on the Sunday, March 24 card.
