South Australia’s parliament has given King Charles a new title. Moving forward, the Lower House will refer to Charles as ‘the sovereign’ rather than ‘His Majesty’. This change is one of many, as the SA parliament has gotten rid of all gender-specific terms such as ‘he’, ‘she’, ‘him’, and ‘her.’ These will be replaced by ‘they’, ‘their’ and ‘them’ in the rules of procedure.
