In a collaboration between the Israel Space Agency and the Austrian Space Forum, 6 analog astronauts spent several weeks simulating life on Red Planet and conducting experiments

While the crew, equipment and accommodation are in Israel, hosted by the Israel Space Agency, they will all be managed by mission control at the Austrian Space Forum facility in Innsbruck, Austria.

AMADEE-20 is a 28-day Mars analog simulation taking place in the Negev desert, starting tomorrow, and will be managed by the Austrian Space Forum and the Israel Space Agency
