Craft Recordings released the original recording of actor Christopher Plummer singing "Edelweiss" in the classic film "The Sound of Music."

Today’s 25th-anniversary rerelease of Saving Private Ryan offers a welcome chance to see, on the silver screen, one of the greatest beginnings of a film in cinematic history.

The newly synced video comes as the 1965 movie musical gets a 'Super Deluxe Edition' soundtrack release December 1.

The musical von Trapp family fled Austria during the Nazi occupation in 1938 and later settled in Vermont. They inspired the 1965 movie ‘The Sound of Music.’

With an alternate version of “Edelweiss,” the Super Deluxe Edition offers never-before-heard alternate takes of the film’s iconic songs, including such favorites as “My Favorite Things” featuring Julie Andrews and cast, “The Sound of Music,” “Something Good,” “Sixteen Going On Seventeen,” “Maria,” and over 40 other previously unreleased tracks.

Singer, activist and pioneering Hollywood star, Harry Belafonte left behind a small but vital number of on-screen appearances, from Carmen Jones to BlacKkKlansman.
