BAKERSFIELD, Calif. â The City of Bakersfield, in partnership with Dignity Health Bakersfield, will honor those healthcare workers who have been called to care during the COVID-19 pandemic through the Operation White Lights campaign.
Mayor Karen Goh, on behalf of the City of Bakersfield, will make a proclamation declaring Friday, January 15 âOperation White Lights Day,â and the city will light up the tree at Centennial Plaza in all white lights in support of the campaign.
âEveryone who works in health care has demonstrated unwavering courage in the face of this pandemic,â says Robin Mangarin-Scott, Vice President of Marketing and Communications for Dignity Health Central California. âTheir strength and humanity is a light of hope for so many patients and families impacted by COVID-19.
