Syracuse, N.Y. The Syracuse men’s lacrosse team finally gets a chance to turn potential into results when it takes the Carrier Dome turf at noon Sunday to host Army in the 2021 season-opener.
It will be the Orange’s first real game in 351 days, since the coronavirus caused an abrupt halt to the 2020 season. At that point, Syracuse was 5-0 and ranked No. 1 in the country. Virtually every key player from that SU team is back this year.
Syracuse enters the game ranked No. 4 nationally while Army (0-1) is No. 12.
