Omatie Jurakan, an employee with Facility Logistic Services, was one of 10 finalists for the United Way of Davidson County’s cash giveaway. On Dec. 15, she was drawn as the winner of the $10,000 cash giveaway.
This is the fourth year in a row that United Way has held a giveaway at Jerry Hunt Supercenter.
Each of the finalists went home with prizes, including gift cards from Bull City Ciderworks, BAM Nutrition, Goose and the Monkey Brewhouse and Walmart; a Chick-Fil-A gift basket; a child’s picnic table from Bunce Buildings; a beachBUB umbrella system; two day passes to Wet’n Wild Emerald Pointe; a Sam’s Car Wash Ultimate Wash package; an elite cooler from Lanier ACE Hardware; a round of golf from Lexington Golf Club; four tickets to Wake Forest football game in 2021; and a $1,500 gift certificate from Lexington Home Brands.
