Keitt mangos from Northern Sinaloa are now available from Splendid by Porvenir, filling a void in the market with the Ataulfo deal having wrapped up two weeks ago and Kents now winding down. “We started with Keitts the end of last week,” Cindy Schwing, who recently joined Splendid as vice president of marketing, told The Produce News Aug. 17. “There will be a lot of large fruit in the range of fours to eights, with not too many 10s or smaller.”
