Currently, there are two such centres in the city - the Institutes of Driving and Traffic Research (IDTRs) at Sarai Kale Khan and Loni, both run by Maruti Suzuki. There is also a Driver Training Institute at Burari in northwest Delhi, run by Ashok Leyland, which is mostly for heavy vehicles. These driver training courses typically run for three to four weeks.

According to officials, currently, small buses and e-rickshaws ply between the metro station and these villages.
