Buc-ee's will celebrate grand opening of Auburn, AL travel center on April 10th.

Buc-ee’s, the massive gas station and travel center franchise, is set to open its newest location in Auburn.

The $45 million travel center, with 120 gas pumps and the usual rollcall of Buc-ee’s treats, broke ground in November 2021.

The vote will determine whether Madison, Ala., should transition from a mayor-council format to a council-manager format, which is unusual for the state. If approved, the city will have until 2025 to make the transition.

Alabamas 2023 legislative session began at noon yesterday. Over the coming weeks state senators and representatives will be debating proposed laws that will govern our state.

A group made up of mayors from Alabama's largest ten cities released its legislative agenda for 2023 today. Major focuses in that agenda include growing Alabama's economy and improving the state's public safety.

At its regular meeting on Tuesday evening, the Auburn City Council approved an ordinance amending the Planned Development District for Woodward Oaks.
