After finishing second by a mere head in her last two outings, Arizona turned the tables on Tuesday (April 23) when she captured the $27,397 featured pace for fillies and mares at Plainridge Park.

After finishing second last week in the fastest mile at Plainridge Park so far this year, Ever Hoping A was a runaway winner in the $27,397 featured condition pace at The Ridge on Monday afternoon, April 22.  

Brett Beckwith has been one of a handful of young drivers having an impact in the driver colony at The Meadowlands during the fall meeting, and the 20-year-old reinsman kept rolling on Friday night, making three visits to the winner’s circle, including one with Splash Of Pink.

A camera was needed to separate the top three finishers in the $25,000 distaff pacing feature at Plainridge Park on Tuesday afternoon (Nov. 28) but the picture clearly showed that La Bella Vita N got the job done for the second week in a row. 

A big day was had by driver Ron Cushing, trainer Heidi Cushing and their owner Kevin Sywyk on Thursday (Nov. 16) at Plainridge Park after combining for a hat trick of winners, two in career best miles and including both top condition races on the card. 

La Bella Vita N visited the winner's circle for the seventh time this year after she won the $25,000 fillies and mares Winners-Over pacing feature at Plainridge Park on Friday, Nov. 10.

After stepping up to the top class at Plainridge Park last week and running into a 1:49.4 buzzsaw mile turned in by Rocknroll Runa A, Alta Classic A took a step back to the $22,500 upper-level conditioned pace and then strode forward to his third North American win at The Ridge on Thursday afternoon (Nov.2). 

It was ladies' day at Plainridge Park on Friday, Oct. 27 with filly and mare races topping the card and the winners of the top two events exhibited great late-season form. 

Normally leaving the gate fast to cut the mile, Torrid Saint A raced from off the pace on Thursday (Oct. 26) at Plainridge Park and scored the best win of his career in the $22,000 upper-level conditioned pace. 

Plainville, MA — Eight $150,000 harness racing divisions made up of the best 2 and 3-year-old trotters and pacers bred in the state went postward in the $1.2 million finals of the Massachusetts Sire Stakes at Plainridge Park on a perfect fall Tuesday afternoon (Oct. 24) and the day produced champions, records and streaks.
