May 3, 2021 Election Day: Polling place The widow of late Congressman Ron Wright is headed for a runoff election for her late husbands seat. Susan Wright is leading in the vote tally for Texass sixth district House seat. But because she will not receive more than 50-percent of the vote, the election will head to a runoff. She will face GOP statehouse member Jake Ellzey. Ron Wright died in February after a battle with coronavirus. The date for the runoff has not been set.
