Ronald williams was killed coming home from work. Saturday night, im walter perez. The big story on action news is the search for the driver who cut short the life of a working father of two. Williams was run down and the driver kept going. Trish harper joins us with details. Walter, it happened as the victim was getting on to i95 south this morning. Family members are shocked and want to know who is responsible. I dont understand how someone can hit someone and keep ongoing. Many in chester wonder the same thing as 46yearold Ronald Williams known as peabody was struck and hit by a hit and run driver. Friends outside the American Legion where williams was a bartender. Williams stopped his vehicle for an unknown reason getting on to i95 and chester when a car hit him and kept going. Williams was pronounced dead on the scene by the medica
Parishioners buy and sell homemade goods in the church basement. Its a very joyous occasion. People are eating and drinking and buying and having a good time. Released this video of the man they say stole from the church in hopes you can help identify him. The good part of it was that nobody was attacked or hurt. Reporter father Michael Doyle who has been at the church for more than 40 years was doing a special mass to bless expectant mothers at the time of the theft. He says1e the money from t fundraiser would have helped next week when they give out a thousand food baskets to families in south camden. He says the loss wont stop their efforts and if they need more money, he says god will use his people to provide. My grandfather.
