The gallery, modeled after the popular mini-libraries, encourages residents to take art, and leave art. Created by artist Ronna Alexander and her family, the project is located outside of Button Gallery at 33 Center St. My husband and I saw them online, Alexander said. I think the original one started in Seattle, but it s hard to know for sure. We saw it and thought, because of the artistic community we live in, this would be a great addition.
