Narrow any way, because a person would not want to leave a device there and figure its going to be in tact for 12 or 24 hours. they would pretty much assume that any backpack or package left on the ground is going to be picked up and examined within a short period of time. so it will be pretty much expected that a person would bring the device to the scene and have it detonated a short time later to avoid having it picked up by the authorities. i would like to add, much speculation has been made...
