Ropeway Project News Today

Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways, Nitin Gadkari, said on Tuesday that the government has identified more than 200 projects at a cost of INR 1.25 lakh cr to be taken up in the next five years under the National Ropeways Development Programme, Parvatmala Pariyojana.

After the MoU was signed, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami stated that there is immense potential for investment in eco-friendly tourism in the state.

The ropeway project is anticipated to transform Shillongs tourism industry and further establish the city as a must-visit location in the North East.

Officials with the Varanasi Development Authority (VDA), Kashi Vishwanath Dham, Smart City Varanasi and Tourism department said the projects would be a booster for Kashi’s already booming tourism sector
