It was a warm sunny morning at Frenchfield for the Penrith parkrun experience on Saturday and the 248 walkers, joggers and runners who took on the 5k course seemed to enjoy the weather.
A misty but thankfully dry morning met the 249 runners, joggers and walkers who assembled at Frenchfield for the 377th Penrith parkrun – a significant event it seems for some.
August, month of summer holidays and, if we're lucky, sunshine, is also the month where more people visit other parkruns than at any other time of year. So it was a bright dry morning as 221 people, 42 of them new to Penrith, ran, jogged or walked their way round the two laps of Frenchfield on Saturday.
