One of the Philippines’ biggest crossover artists, Inigo Pascual, today released a Bimwala remix of his popular song “Catching Feelings” on Tarsier Records. The original song, released in 2019, has garnered nearly 10 MILLION plays on Spotify alone with over 100,000 social media dance videos made to the viral hit.
Pascual, who is known for his 2016 hit single Dahil Sa yo which has over 50 MILLION plays on Spotify and was the first #1 song on Billboard Philippines, has partnered with two-time GRAMMY Award nominated producer and Hawaii resident Bimwala on this remix after the duo met in Honolulu last year during Pascual’s world promo tour. The release also pairs the Philippine singer with GRAMMY nominated and internationally known Samoan reggae artist J Boog, blending island and African sounds to the original record produced by Tariser Records founder/artist Moophs.
