AN Ellesmere Port school has given a warm welcome back to its pupils. For the past two months, most pupils have been unable to attend schools in Cheshire West and Chester, as a result of ongoing coronavirus lockdown restrictions. But a combination of the Covid vaccine roll-out and a continually lowering infection rate has meant it has now been deemed safe for schools to reopen their doors, following months of remote learning. While previously, only pupils from vulnerable families and/or key worker parents were attending, now all pupils can go back to school. And giving pupils a warm welcome was Rossmore School in Little Sutton, which decorated the school gates with dozens of balloons which were designed and made by teaching assistant Amy Dodd.
