UPDATE, 6.45pm: MODERATE flooding is expected at Coraki and Bungawalbin this evening after heavy rainfall in the area. This heavy rainfall has caused renewed river level rises in the Richmond River at Coraki and Bungawalbin. The SES says river levels at Coraki and Bungawalbin Junction may reach moderate flood levels. River levels at Woodburn may reach minor flood levels this evening. A minor flood warning is still current for the Wilsons River at Lismore. The Richmond River at Coraki is currently at 4.86m and rising with minor flooding. The Richmond River at Coraki is expected to reach around the moderate flood level (5m), with further rises possible with future rainfall.

UPDATE 11.20AM: Lismore CBD is preparing now for minor flooding, after previous predictions have been downgraded overnight. Lismore City Council has updated its flood warning from moderate to minor this morning. Heavy rainfall over the Leycester Creek and Wilsons River from Friday to Sunday has caused river level rises at Lismore, which peaked at 2.5 metres around 02:00am this morning, the council posted on social media. The Lismore flood gates remain open on Monday morning, as heavy rainfall continues. There are currently some renewed river rises being observed in the upper tributaries, and further heavy rainfall is forecast for the rest of today.
