MORTON TEAM PIC FEATURING LATE EDDIE GAVIGAN MORTON have paid tribute following the death of former player Eddie Gavigan at the age of 57. After joining as a schoolboy in October 1979 as a 15-year old, Eddie signed for Morton in March 1980, and was a member of the Premier Division squad until the end of 1982/83 season, when he emigrated to New Zealand aged 19.
