The first Tallahassee Awards taking place Tuesday, A chance for the City to thank five people in Tallahassee who have been working tirelessly, especially through the pandemic, to make a difference in their community.

Tallahassee Mayor John Dailey announced the recipients of the first-ever Tallahassee Awards Tuesday.

Tallahassee Police Departments Maurice Holmes addressed Saturday night's shootings that left five people hurt. All three shootings appearing to be random acts of violence.

This year the Light Team will be driving from Tallahassee to Orlando flying to New York on May 26 and returning May 30.
