Against some unpredictable winds, the Salida High School girls’ tennis team lost 6-1 to Pueblo West April 15 on the road.

The Lady Spartans’ were “on fire" at their home tennis match against the Colorado Springs Christian School Lady Lions April 11. Salida won as a team, 6-1.

The Lady Spartans tennis team came away with another close win against the visiting Fountain Valley Lady Danes, 4-3.

The Salida High School tennis team faced Resurrection Christian on the road the day following their first home match, March 29, with another 5-2 loss. However, coach Josh Bechtel said,
