violence. i think the israelis, for the moment, feel calmer than they did a couple weeks ago about their northern border. right. you know, i ve been searching for years, susan, for the worst geopolitical advice in american history, and you just provided it. you re welcome. from the late don rumsfeld. i couldn t participate in the coach talk. you have a problem, make it bigger? actually, this is one of rumsfeld s famous sayings, which i ve applied in my own life. i get stuck and i think, let s make it worse and see if it helps. not often helps but, you know. i wouldn t apply that geopolitically. make it bigger. speaking of bigger, obviously, this draws in iran. there have been questions, a lot of questions about iran and their hand in all of this, from october 7th through the houthi attacks. obviously, they fund them.
making an impact in interviews. no one is stopping her from doing a good job on the border or doing a good job on voting rights, however they label that by being outspoken. i mean, remember, donald rumsfeld, for example, no one knew of rumsfeld that much. he had an opportunity as secretary of defense, he kind of defined himself. pete buttigieg had an opportunity as secretary of transportation to define himself. he has dropped the ball precipitously. he has not performed. if you are voting for somebody for vice president, that s kind of interesting, but i also would like to know who he blames for the fact that she, in his terms, has disappeared. she has been totally ineffective. dick cheney, does anyone think dick cheney wasn t effective. does anyone think mike pence wasn t effective? they played vital al gore reportedly had vital roles in the clinton administration. it doesn t matter whether you created policy, when you get that job, it s up to you to do something. ainsley: do you

and those of us whether you re on the left or the right who opposed that feeling after the 9/11 horrors were, i think, considered unpatriotic. - within the bush administration you had the vice president cheney, secretary of defense rumsfeld the hardliners, those who wanted to take more dramatic action. and there was a momentum that the international community was unable to stop. - the united nations security council has not lived up to its responsibilities, so we will rise to ours. saddam hussein and his sons must leave iraq within 48 hours. their refusal to do so will result in military conflict, commenced at a time of our choosing. of a division in the administration over how to handle saddam hussein. - a white house spokesman says there is no internal rift, insisting the administration speaks with one voice in demanding iraq be rid of all weapons of mass destruction. - it turned out that there was, in fact, this war within the bush administration among some very heavy hitters. - colin powell is not a fan of invading iraq. he has this famous expression, the pottery barn rule: if you break it, it s yours. and he knows that if we go in and break iraq, it s ours. we re gonna have to rebuild it. on the other side, rumsfeld and cheney they just want to go in. - when you re dealing with terrorist networks that can attack at any time, at any place, using any technique, you know before you start that you can t defend against that. therefore, you have no choice. we know they have weapons of mass destruction. we know they have active programs. there there isn t any debate about it. - powell is the odd-man-out, here. he r
