"The market has witnessed a strong recovery in sales with 2022 surpassing 2018 both in terms of sales value and sales volume," the report said.

According to a report by Naredcos Maharashtra chapter and JLL India, housing sales in Mumbai are expected to surpass Rs 1 lakh crore this year and may reach Rs 2 lakh crore by 2030 due to increasing demand. The report highlights that Mumbai is one of Indias largest residential markets, accounting for 40% of total residential sales value in the country.
