Just like Visa and Mastercard, RuPay is a card payment network. Unlike the former two, RuPay is home-grown. Many credit and debit cards work on RuPay. Now the RBI has allowed forex cards to be launched on the RuPay network.

All Canara Bank customers can link their active Rupay Credit Card to UPI and make merchant payments without the physical use of a card, similar to account-based UPI transactions.

PNB hike debit card transaction limit: The daily ATM cash withdrawal limit for VISA Gold Debit Cards would now go up to Rs 1 lakh from Rs 50,000, while the daily POS limit would be hiked from Rs 125,000 to Rs 300,000.

PNB customers will be able to withdraw more money from ATM.

Punjab National Bank said the ATM cash withdrawal cap for Rupay Select and Visa Signature debit cards would be raised from the existing Rs 50,000 to Rs 1,50,000.
