Exeter road rage driver jailed for attack on police officer

Video has been released of a man who drove into two shoppers and a police officer in a fit of rage.
Damien Price, 30, of Russet Avenue, Exeter, was jailed for six-and-a-half years. on Tuesday.
Price's victims were sent flying into the air when he hit them at speeds of up to 30mph in the car park of Sainsburys in Pinhoe, Exeter.
He pleaded guilty to dangerous driving causing grievous bodily harm, attempting to cause grievous bodily harm and assault at Exeter Crown Court.
The judge said he had used his "car as a weapon".

A motorist who mowed down a police officer during a road rage rampage at a supermarket has been jailed for six-and-a-half years.
Police said Damien Price, 30, had already attacked and reversed into a couple after seeing red in a row over a one-way system at a branch of Sainsbury’s in Pinhoe, Exeter
He then drove into Sergeant Alex Howden as he tried to stop the suspect fleeing the busy car park – sending him flying into the air and breaking his leg.
Damien Price had already run down one motorist when he drove at Sgt Alex Howden (Devon and Cornwall Police/PA).
