Bourg couple charged after police say they intentionally crashed truck into bar
A married couple is facing charges after police said they intentionally crashed a truck into a bar in Bourg.
Bourg residents Dustin Rogers, 34, and his wife, Stacy Rogers, 35, were arrested over the weekend after their vehicle slammed into the Rusty Pelican Bar, 4277 La. 24, and fled the scene, the Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office said.
Deputies were called to the establishment about 11:30 p.m. Saturday and learned the couple had gotten into an argument with other bar patrons and were asked to leave, authorities said. Police said the couple made threats against people in the bar and promised to return.
