Four Kansas City-area residents, charged for their roles in last January’s breach at the U.S. Capitol, will next appear before a judge in January 2022, nearly one year to the day of the riot.

Two of the six are from Tucson, Arizona and face multiple felony charges related to the Jan. 6 riot in Washington, D.C.

Each of the co-defendants had already been arrested in the weeks after the U.S. Capitol was breached as members of Congress met last month to recognize the results of the recent presidential race.
