Malta Diner, Troy Pub Forced to Close
Two well-established and very popular Capital Region restaurants announced on Sunday that amidst the pandemic, they ve been forced to close their doors. While the hope in both cases is that they ll reopen in the Spring, much will need to change before that happens.

According to the Times Union, The Malta Diner and Ryan s Wake in Troy announced on Sunday that the pandemic forced them to close up the kitchen.
The Malta Diner, a family owned restaurant that has been in business for over 25 years, posted the heavy-hearted announcement on their Facebook page on Sunday. They explained to their loyal customers that the lack of business and staffing challenges have forced them to shut down until further notice. Hoping that more people feel confident in the spring, they re not ruling out reopening in a few months.
