ODE updates back-to-school COVID framework for the 2021-2022 school year Share this: The Oregon Department of Education (ODE) released an update to a back-to-school health framework of “advisory guidance” last week to ensure students and staff have a safe school environment in-person. The framework addresses variation in COVID-19 vaccination status that might be seen in schools and continues to align with the Centers for Disease Control’s (CDC) guidelines for the COVID-19 pandemic.    “The Resiliency Framework prioritizes student and staff health and well-being through care, connection, and creation of safe, inclusive and supportive learning environments.” The Ready Schools, Safe Learners Resiliency Framework for the 2021-2022 school year replaced the Ready Schools, Safe Learners version 7.5.2 in late June 2021. As of July 22nd, ODE made updates as the nature of the pandemic continues to change.
