Sagicor Group Jamaica, organisers of the charity road race - Sigma Corporate Run, has announced that since Sunday, February 21, it has received over $4 million in donations from corporate entities, individuals and groups, bringing the new total for the beneficiaries to $46.6 million.
On Sunday, the group announced it raised over $42 million.
“We are truly grateful for the tremendous show of support from corporate Jamaica, individuals and donors from all across the world; this additional funding will help to get even more medical equipment for our hospitals and allow us to do even more with the “Get Back on Track” educational programme”, said Christopher Zacca, President and CEO of Sagicor Group Jamaica.
