For the third year in a row, caretaker Prime Minister Najib Mikati will be representing Lebanon in the Arab Summit, amid a vacuum at the top state post and the absence of any indications of ending the presidential crisis before the summit in May. Mikati received an invitation from the King of Bahrain, Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, to participate in the 33rd regular session of the Council of the League of Arab States, which will be held on Thursday, May 16.
