Riding on a hattrick from Haitian forward Belfort Kervens, Dhaka Abahani Limited outplayed Rahamatganj Muslim Friends Society by 6-0 goals in their 15th match of the ongoing Bangladesh Premier League at the Bangabandhu National Stadium on Friday.
Abahani’s local defender Mamun Miah and Afghan defender Masih Saighani contributed one goal each for the giants while the other goal came after Rahamatganj Tajik defender Khurshed Beknazarov netted a goal in his own net.
With this win, Dhaka Abahani climbed to second place with 32 points with a better goal difference in the league, downing Sheikh Jamal DC, who got 32 same points from 14 games.

DHAKA, May 7, 2021 (BSS)- Bangladesh Police Football Club returned winning streak in the second round of TVS Bangladesh Premier League football when they came from behind beat Uttar Baridhara Club by 2-1 goals held today at Bangabandhu National Stadium here.
In the day’s match, forward Mohammad Jewel scored a brace for Police while Uzbekistan defender Saiddoston Fozilov netted a lone goal for Baridhara. All the goals came in the second half after both the teams failed to break the deadlock at the breather.
After the barren first half, Uzbekistan defender Saiddoston Fozilov broke the deadlock putting Baridhara ahead in the 63rd minute from a penalty, but Jewel brought Police in the match to restore the parity in the 75th minute of the match.
