U.S. Sen. Kevin Cramer, R-N.D., said his 42-year-old son was involved in a police chase that ended in a crash and killed a deputy in Mercer County, North Dakota.
Ian Cramer was driving more than 100 mph when he crashed into a patrol vehicle, court documents said. The squad vehicle hit Mercer County Deputy Paul Martin, killing him, law enforcement said.
