Businessman fined GH₵48,000.00 for defrauding colleague May 4, 2021 Leslie Tetteh Praha, in default, would serve eight months imprisonment. Leslie, charged with defrauding by false pretence, was found guilty by the court presided over by Mrs Evelyn Asamoah. Prosecuting, Chief Inspector Emmanuel Haligah, told the court that the complainant, Mr Samuel Asare, was a businessman residing at South La, Accra. The court heard that in 2018, Leslie approached Madam Eunice Dowuona, to buy three Matrix cars. Chief Insp Dowuona said that after conducting checks, Madam Dowuona released the three vehicles to Leslie, and he used one to secure loan and sold the other two to the complainant.
